I have installed my hub motor kit<\/a> on my bike and think IT IS GREAT!!!!
\nI have a question about a wire from the \u201ccruise control-regenerative brake\u201d controller on the handle bar.
\nThe connection to the control unit had 4 wires one of which……the blue wire…was cut.
\nI assumed that it needed to be fixed the two blue wires together.
\nI bought two hub motor<\/a> kits and we have just finished installing the kit on my friends bike and this blue wire is also not connected…..so I am wondering if it is supposed to be disconnected……should I solder this blue wire of cut the blue wire on my bike …..

How to use three button switch?
\n1.We cut off that blue or yellow wire.It’s for reverse\/backward.This function is very dangerous for e-bike. If for e-tricycle,hope this reverse function,just re-connect this yellow wire.
\n(We\u00a0cut off yellow wire.. so no reverse\/backwards function for e-bike. If install motor on tricycle, also need this reverse function,please re-connect this yellow wire. Reverse works)

\nThis\u00a0yellow or black button\u00a0be left \/ middle,motor works forward. Be right side,motor works backwards \/ reverse… (Cut off blue wire,No reverse function)<\/p>\n

How to set max speed?
\nIf you feel motor is too fast,please set it to be low speed.
\n* Press \u201csw\/middle button\u201d from LCD more than 2 seconds,then LCD will display.
\n* Press \u201cup & down button\u201d together more than 2 seconds until 72 is flashing ( 72 is kmh, if you hope works 20mph \/ 32kmh, press \u201cdown\u201d to be 32)
\n* Press \u201csw\/middle\u201d button one time to save,then 20 is flashing.. (20 is wheel size. Don\u2019t set)
\n* Press \u201csw\/middle\u201d button one time to save,then kmh or mph is flashing..
\n* Press \u201csw\/middle\u201d button one time to save,then press \u201csw\/middle\u201d button more than 2 seconds until be back.

\nTurn throttle,motor will work max speed as your setting.
\n\u00a0

\nThere is a \u201c 5 or 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 or 0\u201d on the Left side of LCD.
\n* Be \u201c0\u201d \u2013 throttle & pedal assist NOT work.
\n* Be \u201c1\u201d \u2013 throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 3 circles,then can drive motor to work)
\n* Be \u201c2\u201d \u2013 throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 2.5 circles,then can drive motor to work)
\n* Be \u201c3\u201d \u2013 throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 2 circles,then can drive motor to work)
\n* Be \u201c4\u201d \u2013 throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 1.5 circles,then can drive motor to work)
\n* Be \u201c5\u201d \u2013 throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 1 circles,then can drive motor to work)

\nIf NOT install that pedal assist,ONLY use throttle to drive motor. But Should be 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5.(Be 0,turn off throttle)

2.Green button\u00a0is used to control cruise, while motor is running,also over some speed,example: over 1\/3 max speed,at this time,press green button one time,then loose throttle,LCD display \u201cC\u201d,motor will works the same speed. Re-press this green button one time or press brake lever or turn throttle to max,motor will stop<\/p>\n

3.Red button\u00a0be up,regen on. Be down,regen off. This regen is not strong.Only while braking with a little regen.

\n1.Be careful:
\nHeavy\u00a0Red\u00a0Wire from controller should be connected to \u2192\u00a0Red\u00a0Wire + (48V or 52V battery positive)
\nHeavy\u00a0Black\u00a0Wire should be connected to \u2192\u00a0Black\u00a0wire – (48V or 52V battery negative)
\n\u00a0
\nPower on battery. Press \u201csw\u201d middle button more than 2 seconds until LCD be ON. Turn throttle,motor will work.
\nIf Not work,please check below:
\n1. if LCD display \u201c-O-\u201c, the system is braking,cut off motor power.. please make brake levers\u2019 metal ring be back or disconnect brake lever\u2019s plug, then \u201c-O-\u201c off, turn throttle,motor works.
