Q:Ordered 1 set of bike conversion kit from leafmotor couple days ago.
Waited for nearly 7 days,picked up box in local post office.
Disconnect this package,everything is nice,especially LCD display,as said,it can display speed,mileage,battery gauge..
Happy to done conversion,spend half a day.Hub motor works well.But can’t find any data display on this LCD, I don’t know how to set this LCD.

Need a user’s manual for set LCD, urgently!!!

Q:small detail. lights of the twist is on but i run motor until battery come dead then the lights all together come off there is no color change when battery get lower

yeah,seems it can’t display correct.
My 26″ rear wheel 48V 1000W electric bike kit,48V twist throttle with gauge
Power on 48V li battery,three leds(green,yellow,red) be on.
I ride for a long distance last time.Three leds still be on together.I thought it still could run more.After ten minutes later,green led was off.Only yellow and red leds be on and climb a steep hill,the bldc motor stopped.Turn off,then turn on,still can run.But it would stop at once.

My 26″ 36V 250W bike kit with LCD display.
Though my throttle also has this battery level,I never notice it.
That LCD is really good,can display the voltage of battery,speed,mileage etc correctly.

This battery level on throttle was designed as the voltage of lead acid.
1.More than 48V,green,yellow,red three leds all ON.
2.From 47V~48V,green OFF,yellow and red ON.
3.Below 47V,only red ON.

A:This Item hub motor kit works with throttle or pedal assist or both of them.
Come with brake lever with cut off function. But not come with cut off brake sensors.

Q:What’s the difference with brake levers with cut off function verse brake cut off sensor?

A:The same.
If you don’t use our brake lever, prefer yourself brake lever, can install this cut off sensor.
If use our brake lever, don’t use this cut off sensor.

I’m thinking about the rear 250w hub motor or the rear 350w hub motor.
I like the smaller display that the 250 has. If I get the 350 watt bike motor kit can I ask for the smaller display that comes with the 250?
Also I have a 7 speed cassette will both these motors work?

A:Yes. We have smaller LCD that can work this 250w or 350w controller.For example: LCD-07U, LCD-005 or LCD-004
Can make cassette version motor. But, should tell us after paid. (Default: fit for 7 speed freewheel sprocket)

Q:Can you help me further?
I have a Electra townie bike.
The tires are 26 inch with cruiser size tires(not fat tire) but they are the 2.125 size. My bike also has linear pull brakes, not disc brakes.
The 350 and 250 watt hub motors all sit tires sizes too small and I don’t see any that accept rim brakes
I want to add a 250 or 350 watt rear hub motor to this bike.

Q:What I am clear on is that you have bike motor kits for rim brakes. You have kits for my tire size. Thank you for answering those. I do have free wheel and its shifted with a 7 speed cassette

Greetings, I have received hub motor kit with everything, and am happy with it so far, although I haven’t assembled everything. I have a couple of questions:
In the owner’s manual after the editable functions of “LIM” (speed limit), “DIM” (tire dimensions), “UNIT” (metric or English units), there are 22 other parameters, named P1, P2, etc., C1, C2, etc, L1, L2, etc. What are those for, and can a user edit/change those, or should I leave those alone? I’m curious if one of them is regenerative braking strength in particular.

Also, I see a controller for lights, horn, and maybe turn signals. Is that for a device that you also sell, that does all of those functions, and is powered by the USB outlet I see behind the display on the side? Or is that just a phone charger, or is it just a plug for any light/horn device? Pics attached below if that helps. Thanks for any info, and for what I’m sure will be another great product!

Q: I connected hub motor to the controller and everything up correctly and the display powers on perfectly well but when I turn the throttle on nothing happens with bike motor. Is there a necessary configuration?

A: First connect hub motor.Controller will check Hall sensor.Display E7. If connect wires well. E7 will be off. If always display E7. Bike motor works in no Hall status. Just check White big plug with red,black,green,blue,yellow..(Hub MOTOR SENSOR PLUG)If one wire is not connected well.Always display E7. Check if pin inside white big plug was bent?

Q: I checked the pins in that sensor plug, they all seem to be perfectly fine. The hub motor has not worked since I got it even if the hall plug is unplugged. Is there a change in settings for sensor less?

A: There are two brown wires from controller. Remove black tape on two brown wires. Don’t turn throttle. Plug these connectors together. Controller can look for correct working way. .Plug them.If bike motor Not work，Disconnect them.Then re-plug until work correctly.Then disconnect them.Turn throttle

Q: Cool I will try, should I turn the bike off before I connect the wires or should I do this while it is on? Will connecting those wires spin the motor?

A: If plug these two connectors,also can’t solve it. Controller always remembers this E7 is correct working way. Do it as below: 1.Disconnect/remove your battery power plug 2.controller’ red and black wires touch together for 1 second.Let controller to be default Then re-connect your battery to controller.(If wires are connected well).Must solve it.

Q: When I connected the pedal assist it works perfectly, so it must be the throttle, could you verify for me that this is the correct wire orientation?

If your tire is 20 x 1.75. When you order, tire size,choose: 20 x 1.5″ / 1.75″ / 1.95″
Total size of 20 inch rim is 420mm (about 16.5″)

Q: yes I think the Power Circle 20 inch rim with 1.75 inch tyre will suit my e-scooter rear frame.
My rear frame dropout is 135 mm, can you replace the 110 mm axle dropout with a 135 mm axle dropout.

The hub motor looks like it has a lot of torque (N. m), do you have torque arms that can fit on each side of the axle flats.
This will allow me to fix the torque arms to my rear frame to stop the axle spinning backwards under hard acceleration.

Do you have a wiring schematic for all the wires coming out of the hub motor so I can check which wires needs to connect to my Controller.
Is there a wire for the thermistor for the hub motor temperature sensor.

We don’t have torque arm now.
We have NTC-10K and KTY84-130 two kinds of temp.Can choose one of them install into motor.Will come out a white wire.

Q: What is the temperature of the two types of wire… Which one is suitable for the hub motor?

A: Maybe your display can choose set and choose any one of them. Default: KTY84-130 (Most customers use this temp)
But, also other customers asked us to install NTC-10K inside motor.

We recommended 2 or 3 sets of 72v 18ah 40A lithium battery.That’s better than 1 set of 72v 50ah 40A

I know even better 1) 72v 40ah 40a less cells and you can make it to fit in the housing of the frame .
