As usual, we will start our discussion with the motor. As explained in the previous article that Yongkang specializes in making permanent magnetic brushless DC motors. As they are brushless, their operation is quiet and maintenance free. The motor rating is 250W which will easily take you to a maximum speed of 24 Kmph. A 36V 10-Ah lithium-ion battery will last for almost 40Km in a single charge. It takes around 4-5 hours to charge this battery. The kit uses a standard 26” front wheel to accommodate the motor. The complete weight of the kit is around 27 Kg and it can propel a rated weight of 100Kg.
