electric hub motor for motorcycle

Q: I am planning to install hub motor on my gasoline scooter. Basically I want my scooter to use gasoline or electric hub motor. My question is, if I install the electric hub motor on my scooter.

What will happen to the electric hub motor (motor is off) if I run my gasoline motor top speed of 120kph? Will the electric hub motor (even turned off ) be damaged because of higher wheel rpm on gasoline running top speed?

A: If max speed is less than 800RPM that is no problem for our hub motor.
What size of your wheel?
Too high speed will break the bearing.

Q: If I change the bearing to high speed bearings. Will the coils magnet inside will break? 17 inch rim.

A: Magnet and coils is no problem if you cut off electric so that No current between controller and motor when you use gasoline.
If No current, Not too hot. Magnet and coils is okay when 120kmh.
17 inch rim. I think you should use our 20 inch bike conversion kit.
Below leaf bike is our new site.

Q: I saw your youtube videos on your channel.
I prefer to install it on front wheel using a 17inch motorcycle wheel rim,so a hub motor is best. You can checkout my motorcycle channel youtube.com so that you have idea on what I do on my bikes.
What kind of hub motor can you suggest on me?

A: We recommend 20 inch front 48V 1000W hub motor with 160mm disk. The diameter of this electric hub motor tire is about 51cm. It’s brushless gearless motor and has enough power to climb on ebike. We found yours is motorcycle, it’s too heavy. If possible, please choose our 17 inch electric motorcycle motor. It’s very fit for your motorcycle. How about this 17 inch electric motor?
