measure electric bike hub motor hall sensors

Bike motor controller is fine, they all got 4.9~5.0 from meter reading. We will open and check the hub motor after work. We are more worried about if the electric bike motor itself is damaged.

Could you get the below data:
1. Remove this white biggest plug, power on and measure volt of white biggest from brushless motor controller.
Red, Black, blue, green and yellow
1.Red and black is about 4.9V
2.Blue and black is about 4.9V
3.Green and black is about 4.9V
4.Yellow and black is about 4.9V

If you can get the data, the bldc motor controller is okay.

LCD always display “05 flashing”.
The issue comes from electric bike motor hall.(five wire: red, black, green, blue and yellow)
Could you check this five wires whether through?

This is a instruction about how to disconnect this hub motor.
It takes about 10 minutes to disconnect.

You will find a PCB around the rotor-winding. There are five wires (red, black, green, blue and yellow) are on this PCB.

I removed both panel on hub motor and did a quick test. All the thin wire looks fine. They can go through from both side. But the thick wire connect to enameled wire that I can’t test since they been wrapped up.

If Not flashing. Then it will work.
Could you get below data from electric bike motor hall sensor?

Three are three hall sensors around rotor winding.
For example:
hall 1 Green (pin 1.1 pin 1.2 pin 1.3)
hall 2 Yellow (pin 2.1 pin 2.2 pin 2.3)
hall 3 Blue (pin 3.1 pin 3.2 pin 3.3)

Pin 1.1 ,pin 2.1 and pin 3.1 are connected to the red wire together.
Pin 2.1 ,pin 2.2 and pin 2.3 are connected to the black wire together.
Pin 1.3 is green,pin 2.3 is yellow,pin 3.3 is blue.

Volt meter Red Pin to Pin x.1 black Pin to x.2 (x=1,2,3)You will get below data:
Pin 1.1 and pin 1.2 is about 1.185 (see picture 5)
Pin 2.1 and pin 2.2 is about 1.185
Pin 3.1 and pin 3.2 is about 1.185

Volt meter Red Pin to Pin x.1 black Pin to x.3 (x=1,2,3)You will get below data:
Pin 1.1 and pin 1.3 is about 1.498 (see picture 4)
Pin 2.1 and pin 2.3 is about 1.498
Pin 3.1 and pin 3.3 is about 1.498

Volt meter Red Pin to Pin x.2 black Pin to x.3 (x=1,2,3)You will get below data:
Pin 1.2 and pin 1.3 is about .633 (see picture 6)
Pin 2.2 and pin 2.3 is about .633
Pin 3.2 and pin 3.3 is about .633

Another way to test hall sensor:
Connect all wires, power on.

Measure red, black, green, blue and yellow BLDC motor hall wires
1.Red and black is about 4.9V
2.Black and yellow is about 4.9 or 0V (Please use your hand to turn hub motor, the data will change from 4.9-0V)
3.Black and blue is about 4.9 or 0V (Please use your hand to turn hub motor, the data will change from 4.9-0V)
4.Black and green is about 0V or 4.9V (Please use your hand to turn hub motor, the data will change from 0V-4.9V)

If nothing is changed, this hall was broken.
How about the other black and red wire?
Only black or red wire can’t touch well or not go through, 05 will be always flashing.
